Maj Mohammad Tanvir Hasan Chowdhury was commissioned in Bangladesh Army in 2000 in the Corps of Army Education Corps with 15 BMA Special course. He received the B.Sc. (Hons) in Chemistry from Shahajalal University of Science & Technology, Bangladesh in 1997, and the M.Sc. in Chemistry from Shahajalal University of Science & Technology, Bangladesh in 1999. He is a dedicated and accomplished officer of Bangladesh Army, currently serving as an instructor of Chemistry in the Department of Science and Humanities at MIST. With a distinguished career spanning over two decades, he has served in various appointments including the instructional arena in MIST, BMA, ASEA and Principal in two Cantonment Public School, showcasing his versatility and leadership.
Beside the mandatory courses, he has completed course on ACEM-43 in NEAM, Dhanmondi, Dhaka Bangladesh Where he secured 1st position and received Chairman’s Award. He also completed E-MBA from BUBT where he scored CGPA 4.00 out of 4.00 and received Chancellor’s Gold Madel.
Under blue helmet, he has served as a Mov con Offr in the United Nations mission in Sudan. This engagement highlights his contributions to global peacekeeping operations.
